Effective February 6, 2009, licensed agents can complete all 24 continuing education credits/hours with self-study or online courses.

Price Per Agent Includes: Course, grading, certificate and reporting if state requires.

Online Course Pricing: We charge $40.00 for your hours up to 24.0 and $1.50 for each hour after that.

State Information: There are no license related course subject requirements.Tuition includes: Text, examination, grading, and forwarding of all necessary documents. The agent must take at least 6 hours in one of the lines of authority for which they are licensed. A maximum of 12 hours may be carried over to the next reporting period. These courses have been approved by the Department of Insurance, State of Kentucky for Continuing Education Credit. Carryover of excess hours: A maximum of 12 credit hours may be carried over to the next compliance period.

State Requirements: Self-study and Online final exams are not required to be monitored.

Licensed agents must complete 3 hours of Ethics as part of their 24 hour requirement. Property Casualty agents selling flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program must complete a one-time 3 hour course on flood insurance.

Credit Requirements: Effective July 1. 2009 your continuing education compliance date will be the same month/year that your license renewal is due. Effective February 06, 2009, for licenses with continuing education compliance dates beginning February 2009: The 12 hour Classroom Requirement has been removed: therefor, you may now meet your 24 hours/credits of continuing education without classroom restrictions.
