New CE course requirement beginning with compliance 1/31/2009 and thereafter. Licensed agents with L, L/H, or L.H/VA licenses must complete 3 credits on the topic of Senior Suitability of Annuities and Life Insurance. This requirement replaces the Ethics requirement for those agents with Life in their licenses. Agents with P/C, Limited Customer Representatives, or Customer Services Representatives must continue to complete the Florida Ethics requirement. Agents with dual licenses, L, L/H, L/H/VA and P/C must complete the Senior Suitability requirement. Beginning with compliance periods ending 1/31/2009 and thereafter, all property Casualty, Customer Service Representatives must complete 1 continuing education credit hour on Hurricane Loss Mitigation.

We have the LTC Partnership Plans, 4 credit hour requirement approved by the state and ClearCert. ClearCert is a national clearing house assisting your company to verify this course meets the federal requirement.

Course Completion: Licensed agents can complete their correspondence/paper course exam at their home or office. Monitored exam site are longer required.

Price Per Agent Includes: Course, grading, certificate of completion and reporting those earned credits to the state, or ClearCert if needed.

Credit Requirement: All new agents must complete 24 continuing education credits every 2 years. After an agent has completed 6 or more years from the beginning of their compliance period their credits reduce to 20 credits. Agents with 6 years experience must complete intermediate level or higher courses for their continuing education compliance. Agents with General Lines or 220 licenses may take a health course for up to half of their requirement. Certificate of Completion: we report earned continuing education credits to the state on the 10th, 20th and last day of the month. This is part of your course fees. Students wanting expedited service/reporting of credits, within 2 business days, excluding Sundays, can pay a $10 fee for service. Please call customer service for this option 800.639.4056.

Carryover of CE Credits: A maximum of 24 continuing education credits may be carried over to the next compliance period.

State Information: These courses have been approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for insurance continuing education credit. All of our approved courses from the State of Florida are classified as intermediate level courses.

Course Repetition: Licensed agents can not repeat the same course with the same provider within a 3 year period.
